Greet property visitors and respond to basic garden questions |

Skills: |
| -Enthusiastic about plants and gardening
-Prior perennial garden care experience preferred
-An interest in performing general gardening practices, including repetitive tasks such as weeding, watering and mulching
-Ability and interest in working independently
-Able to take direction from staff and communicate with supervisor in a timely fashion
-Ability to use garden tools, including wheelbarrows , trowels, shovels and pruners safely
-Ability to work outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions
-Ability to bend and stoop for several hours at a time
-Basic knowledge of garden maintenance tasks
-Plant identification skills, desired but not required
-Open to engaging visitors when appropriate
-Attend an orientation session at Naumkeag
-Commitment to reporting service hours via the Trustees volunteer website |
