One-Time Volunteers
Time Frame :
8:30am: Registration and sign-in with coffee and refreshments in the Venable Gym. 9:30am- 12:15pm: Send off to 19+ Service Projects (9 on site at MCLA and 9 or more at various community sites) 12:30: Free Lunch and Community celebration with speakers, entertainment and presentation of annual MLK Peacemaker Award. Parking available in MCLA lots (Freel Library, behind Hoosac Hall) and nearby streets.

Join us for the 25th Annual community Celebration in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's Day of Service and Celebration will be at a new location at MCLA at the Venable Gym.
Skills:
Join us in Taking Action to Make a Difference for people struggling in prisons, or struggling with homelessness, or for other community betterment that YOU can help by writing letters to legislators and others. YOUR voice can be heard and you can HELP. Get involved in this session. Up to 15 people needed for this session.
MLK Martin Luther King Committee
The MLK Committee, under the umbrella of the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition is a volunteer led committee that coordinates events that honor the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The main event is the Annual MLK community celebration on the annual holiday.
